I started the programme of  food supplement shakes and over a period of 6 months I lost 6.5 stone. I combined the diet with using the personal fitness suite at UK Hair and Beauty and attending three classes a week rebuilt my fitness levels. Losing this weight was such a fantastic feeling. I gained confidence and belief in myself of the huge loss I had achieved.

It is now 2012 and I am ready to face phase II of the weight loss programme. I want to lose an additional 60lbs over a 20 week period so that I am at the weight I have always desired to be. Losing my first initial 6.5 stone has given me the confidence and determination to do this.

I will be sharing my journey with you and weighing myself weekly, updating this blog each week and sharing the details of how it feels to be on a food supplement programme.

Furthermore, I will be holding weekly “biggest loser” evenings at the spa from this Wednesday 11th January 2012 at 7pm where I hope other people will be inspired by my journey  and too wish to lose weight. I appreciate it is a big decision wanting to lose weight and making those first steps  and I am here to support you all and we can do this together.

Let the journey begin!
